SGRR Talab nested in the lap of Doon Valley and in the Sanctity of the holy Shri Darbar Sahib is an institution having futuristic approach as well as one which respects ancient ideologies like ‘Work is Worship’. It believes in holistic development of an individual so that he can develop into a responsible , talented and multifaceted individual.

Every school has its own vision & mission, an ethos & a spirit. These constitute the very essence of learning and education that the school seeks to impart. At SGRR Talab all these are directed at preparing children to be confident in their outlook, hard working, disciplined and dedicated in their endeavors, responsible and accountable in their actions, empathetic and considerable in their attitude. The focus at this school is therefore on making our students complete young men and women who when pass out the school possess all the skills that would help them not only to succeed in their future life but also become the face of young India.

Adhering to these principles the school crossed yet another milestones and has a basket full of achievement to share . A total of 218 students appeared in the board examination for class XII wherein they exhibited their potentialities at their best.

Prachi Srivastav topped the AISSCE examination in the commerce stream with 95.8% while Shubham Pal shared the top slot with 95.6% from science stream, along with Nikita Dubey 91.6%. Following the footsteps of their seniors the class X students also excelled in the AISSE Examination.

Aman Prajapati, Ayush Dhiman, Kishore Panwar, Meenakshi Tiwari, Mukul Gupta and Tanya achieved 10 CGPA while more than 30 students got more than 9 CGPA.

To provide a forum to our talented students the school provides ample opportunities to seek the hidden talents and leaves no stone unturned to nurture the ample potentialities. Inter house debates, patriotic songs, painting competions etc are organized at regular interval during the session.

A healthy mind resides in healthy body . Believing in this students of all age groups are given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of physical activities like football, basketball , kho-kho.

The school also believes in nurturing a child with equal emphasis on his individuality and therefore organizes PTA meets twice in a year.

Counseling is not just a necessity but genuine requirement in students life. Many career counseling sessions were conducted by the team of expert counselors during the session.
